Stock Tips| Bank Nifty | Nifty Tips - 24 May 12

On thursday Indian shares are expected to trade in a range  with a negative bias amid signs that European leaders were unable to deliver meaningful measures to resolve the region's deepening debt crisis.

The Indian market opens for trade this morning on a marginally positive note. Earlier, the US markets ended mixed with the Dow down 7 and Nasdaq up 11 odd points while Asia is in the red at this hour. Sensex is trading at 15994, up 46 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 4847, up 11 points.

The Nifty index is expected to head upward till 4879 with support around 4800 in the immediate run. Key supports in the immediate run will be around 4800 and resistance will be 4879.

Bank Nifty is currently trading at Rs 9238.85, up by 28.95 points or 0.31% from its previous close.

Today the Indian market opens on a negative side for trading. The Sensex opened at Rs 17,220 with down 82 points whereas the Nifty declined by 29 points opened at Rs 5,210. CNX Midcap index is down 0.3% and BSE Smallcap index is up 0.1%.
